- Hand Crafted Knives - The Esoteric Connection Evident in Hand Crafted Knives By:-Ben Rial
Can it perhaps be that a small portion of the bladesmith's energy is contained within each knife? Maybe the age old history of the blacksmithing occupation takes with it tiny pieces of every blacksmith that has taken up the craft of metalworking? That one way or another a particular metaphysical force imparts the essence of the metal worker in each blade he has produced. Is that all unprovable baloney? Maybe, but then again, maybe not. I can’t avoid but notice a change whilst I hammer on a blade. As if in a particular manner I transcend and become one with the coal fire, metal, and ringing hammer, even if it is only a transient sensation.
- Hand crafted Knives - The Power the Metal Worker's Art By:-Ben Rial
Might it possibly be that a small portion of the bladesmith's essence is imparted inside every blade? Just maybe the lengthy history of the blacksmithing art takes with it small pieces of each blacksmith that has taken up the challenge smithing creates? That one way or another a particular psychic force imparts the essence of the smith in each blade he has produced. Is that altogether idealistic foolishness? I don't know, but then again, possibly not. I cannot help but detect a transformation while I work on a sword. As if in a particular manner I transform and feel as if I have somehow, in some way or manner joined with the fire, metal, and hammer, even if it is merely a fleeting effect.
- The Energy of Hand Forged Blades By:-Ben Rial
Can it possibly be that a small piece of the bladesmith's energy is contained inside every blade? Maybe the lengthy saga of the blacksmithing occupation takes with it tiny pieces of each bladesmith that has undergone the art of the hammer? That one way or another a certain metaphysical force injects the essence of the blacksmith in each sword he has fashioned. Is that all unprovable drivel? Just maybe, but then again, conceivably not. I cannot help but observe a change whilst I labor on a blade. As if in a certain sense I transcend and feel as if I have somehow, in some way or manner joined with the coal fire, metal, and ringing hammer, though it is simply a transitory feeling.
